Masovian Voivodeship Miniature Park

Park Miniatur

This miniature park in Warsaw presents ten 1:25 miniatures of Warsaw historic buildings. It is currently located in the garden of the Central Agricultural Library at 66 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. According to plans, there will be some 50 miniatures of historic buildings from Warsaw and the Masovian Voivodeship shown in the grounds of the garden.

Description

Initiated by Rafał Kunach (the founder of the Masovian Voivodeship Miniature Park Foundation), the project is aimed at presenting miniatures of now non-existent Warsaw's historic buildings and culturally important sites from across the Voivodeship (also those that exist to this day).
Among partners of the Park are "Warszawa1939.pl" Foundation, "Saski 2018" Association, "Stolica" monthly and Radio Plus.

Miniatures

The exhibition, which is supplemented by old city plans as well as paintings and drawings of old Warsaw, includes miniatures of: All miniatures are based on original plans, drawings and photographs obtained through historic research. Made of weather-resistant materials, including glass and tin, they can be safely exhibited outdoors. Some ornamentation elements and figures of residents have been made with 3D printers.

Locations

Ultimately, the park will be located outdoors at a location which has yet to be announced.
